The Newcastle University Politics Placement Project highlights work carried out by Newcastle University students on the Politics Work Placement module.  Students are placed at charities, non-profit organisations and political parties.  These are mostly based in the North East although we have some remote placements at organisations located outside the region.  The work mainly takes the form of research and reports but sometimes students carry out more 'hands-on' work for example involving marketing, fund-raising or developing social media for the organisations.
